They do look rather small for 10 days. Is that 10 days from planting or 10 days from when they broke the surface?

I thought they looked small also, It is 10 days from breaking the surface,I just attributed to the fact that I transplanted them about three days after they broke through in 2.5 gal pots.I don't know if this is the reason for the stunting or not.I don't have the exact temps. that they grow in but to me it is around 70-80.No nutes yet,and they are in ffof.Is there any reasons besides the oversized pots that would be the culprit,I would love to hear it.

Ah yeah that's fair enough, they'll probably explode into life soon, I'd assume they're just rooting themselves in first.

Thanks, I apreciate all of the feedback. The large pots was my first assumption simply beacause the last few days(probably after the roots were somewhat established) is when I have seen the most growth out of the tops.Everyday now since then I have seen new true leave starts.

Good stuff, hope it all works out for you.

they're small because they have tonnes of root space to fill up, so there is nothing to worry about

if they were in jiffy pods or something they would be bigger on the top, but have less root mass

so, starting a seed in a large pot is preferable if you can control the moisture of the soil, since it's going to be easy for the soil to over-saturate and compact without an appropriately sized plant wicking off water from it
