Get yourself a solistek 600/400w dimmable and be done with the issues.....have you tried powering it up directly thru the outlet, no timer attached? Also have another bulb to check? Just suggestions that you may or may not have tried.

Succesful growing will be determined with the quality of equipment you have. It can happen to any brand though you always have to be prepared. Companies do not make equipment that lasts a lifetime anymore.

The money is not in the cure, but it is in the medicine, if you get what im saying.

Get a replacement/refund ASAP! And make sure the ballast & bulb "go together" some brands are hinky that way....

I have a Sunlight Supply 400 dual HPS/HID after my other one which was only 3 months old stopped working. This one works just fine.

Damn that sucks sorry to hear it...I literally just bought a similar type of setup off ebay but was also looking at the iPower. The one I went with was the Revolt ballast. Only had it less than a week but its working great and has been on 24/7. But yea send that thing back under the warranty and if funds are tight try to find a used ballast for a decent price. If not, Solistek, Lumatek, and Quantum are all brands recommended to me by my local hydro guys.

waiting for the store to open, my girls are pissed that they are stuck under cfl's. thanks for the input guys. guess im gonna buy another ballest , use the ipower for a back-up, learning to have a couple of spares of the things that you cant go without for any length of time.

How do you know its the ballast? What about the bulb? Do you have a replacement you can try? A bulb is much cheaper so cross your fingers. I have run and am running 20+ ballasts and 9 times out of 10 its the bulb.

Just hopin for ya bud!
