not much chance with cfls

zo0t makes a good point. Once dried, my harvest might come out to just over 2 z's. Guessing around 50-60 g's. The only reason I got that was because I had the plant under a screen. Anything above the screen was completely surrounded by lights. With that kind of technique, a pro could possibly get about .5 per watt. My average looks like its gonna come out to .30g/actuall watt. As I said before, I love cfls, but after 5 grows under cfls, I know I can't expect the same yeilds as a HID grower. This kind of debate has to many variables though. In a controlled environment where 2 plants are grown exactly the same except one flowers under hids and one under cfls with equall wattage, the hids will always yeild much more. Its a hard fact to swallow for guys like me who swear by the power of cfls, but it is a fact.

look at the other post 10 oz off one plant thats my thread too,i already got over 5 ozs off two 1.5 foot tall plant cured and dry wieght so i will have not a porblem pullin 10 off my big bitch as for hps lamps i haveent tryed them ,so i wouldnt know ,this is my second grow ever!!!!!and too all the say they have growin 20+ years and cant get what i get isnt my fault sounds like u have a problem. just like i wasnt able to pull 10 pound of mushies in 2 months ,ppl r so dam stuiped and closed mined no wonder u cant get shit

put yur grow were your mouth is then and challenge someone to a grow off....make sure you go up against a 600w hps lamp so you can really show em whos the yield boss!
someone pulled 2 ounces off 1 lsted plant in a small cab with 2 23w cfls got like 43g's dried and it's possible

Hmm pretty much shows you what two 23w cfls can do which put out 400 more lumens then 1 42w bulb and can spread out more....also dr buds gots it going 72 plants with 420w cfls with sea of green damn....

here you go tough guy. If you read my journal i go into details. First time growing inside. People who say you cant get tight/fat buds with cfls have not used them.

my last crop I grew 2 ladies. Each vegged for about 6 weeks. I had top notch shit. Mylar on every wall and on top and bot. CO2 running. Good nutes. almost 500 watts cfl. Yield about 70 grams each girl. 1 gram per cfl watt not achievable. I dont even think .5 grams per cfl watt is achievable.
