1 plant, 400w hps - big bush flowering [pics]

hi guys,

thought i would share a few pics of my aerogarden grow

I'm about 12 days into flowering, i started with 4 plants and ended out with 1 female... but she's a beaut!

I did a lot of bending and pinching and I've ended out with a LOT of tops - I'm hoping my 400W HPS will fill them out.

Any tips for pruning or how i should treat all of the tops? ie: trying to keep a level canopy or should i just let em go?

yeah bro dont top no more and just keep the 400 as close as u can without burning the tops and ur good to go. that baby is loking serious bro

little update:

I'm 21 days in and things are going pretty well
I'm a bit worried about the size of the buds but I'm hoping they will puff up a bit... it is still early

I burnt a few of my tops since they were a touch too close to the HPS... Will these tops recover or grow over the burnt part or are those branches as good as done?

Here's a few pics, I'm starting to see some crystals and its smelling really good

any tips to even out the canopy or should i just let it grow?

for getting the 'BIG BUDS' should i add more nutrients or more light? I have ample of both already but feel that the buds should be growing a bit bigger than they are now...

its take a good time fore the buds to produce, they dont start to swell up untill the last couple weeks, they should be fine, great job

buds are still filling out!

seeing some good trichrome development on some of the lower buds and smaller colas

She's got 2-3 large tops, around 15 smaller tops.... I'm very excited

I'm thinking she'll go for another 3 weeks... will start flushing in 7-9 days


should i expect them to puff up even more in the next few weeks?

I bought some black strap molasses... anyone have experiences or tips to share when using molasses during flushing?

Yeah dude, for real... What were your grow methods?

I'm growing in 12/12 now under a 400w hps
I have 2 42w CFLS supplementing as well

I'm using advanced nutrients(micro, grow, bloom, f1, carboload, big bud) on their websites medium feeding schedule (using less than it asks for though)
I still feel like i'm using too much so i'm going to start to cut back the nutrients big time heading towards flushing (will start flush in a week or so)

using the water from the supermarket out of those big "7 step" dispensers, where it is ozonated and UV something or othered...

i have 1 fan blowing out of the closet, one fan blowing in the closet... and i try to give it fresh air everyday

I just stuck in one of those DIY co2 bottles with water, yeast and sugar... not sure if its helping but it smells awful...

one 6" airstone in the reservoir

i've stopped paying attention to the pH... was adding a few drops every day but havent done that in awhile... seems fine...

I think thats about it...

i was hoping they would fill out more and they did!

i'm seeing a lot of new growth poking out of the sides... sticking the 42W CFL close to the side of the cola seems to really help out...

i tried to get a close up of the trichs but it was tough.
I cant see any amber trichs yet... mostly cloudy with a few clear... I'm pretty colorblind so let me know if you can see any amber in there

I think i'll start flushing sunday or monday until the end! i'm almost there!

yes the HPS was a good choice... however if you are going to go with a small grow... you can probably do a 250W or even smaller...

I think the 400W is overkill for my plant - but i cant complain, its doin good!

no my 150w is sick but i think i shoulda gotta 250....might be buying one soon..
