1 Month or so into flower...black shiny spots on leaves & red stems on lower branches

Hey guys,

My 3 clones are all about 1/2 month-1 month into flowering and I've been noticing this weird black oily residue on some of the leaves. I know I have a few leaf hoppers jumping around but I'm not sure if this is coming from them or something else?

Some people are saying it's caterpillar poop or a sign of bud worms but I haven't seen any worms or caterpillars since early June and I check my plants pretty thoroughly on a daily basis. The clones have gone also through multiple sprayings of neem oil and BT.

I'm trying not to spray anything on them now that they're in flower...does anybody know what these spots are?

Also, my Blue Dream clone's lowest branches have turned super dark. The upper part of the plant is totally fine, I'm wondering if I should just chop these branches off since they'll just be popcorn nugs anyway. Would this affect the flowering process? Don't want to impact my yield.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks all!

Those black spots could be a type of fungus. I would spray them asap just incase.
The leaves look light ...I would be giving them some Epsom salts or cal mag imo[/It’s been hot as hell here and no moisture on the plant besides in the soil.

Yes the purple punch is looking pretty light. I giving them their second dose of cal mag tomorrow. New growth is looking much greener.

Thanks!

I'm not saying I'm 100% by any means... but when googling I did find this. I hope it is not this
...I mean sure...it could be droppings but it still looks like it to meScreenshot_20190823-072753_Chrome.jpg
If you notice under symptoms it describes what you said

It is similar but I don’t have brown spots on lower leaves at all. The black spots are just on the top leaves of the colas.
