did you end up doing this? did it make a difference?
Decided to wait until I did a res swap. Will be a lot easier if the tote is empty. I'm sure it's gonna help!! Plant is just about covering the whole tote, so it's providing a little shade at least.

Thanks!! I try to keep my questions to a minimum, tons of info on this site! Now that I've got ph and ec meters, it's all about keeping it in between the lines :blsmoke: Multi Zen has been doing its thing I reckon. Res temps are between 69-72 depending on time of day, unless I remember to toss a frozen water bottle in there. 60% of the time, I do it everytime

Had to rearrange the tent. My 2 light frames are each 2'x4', and the way they were orientated, I couldn't adjust the lights properly with this giant plant. So I moved it where it's the only plant under one light.

Adjusted the light down a little, leaves were taco'd. Roots look to have filled over half of the reservoir, on its way to 3/4.

I check and adjust the ph once a day. I put it at 5.6, it's around 6.2 the next day. She's drinking almost a gallon a day. Stalk has just about busted the foam disc out of the net cup.

Hopefully she's done stretching. I had to cut my tent to fit the slope of my loft ceiling. I've got right at 6' of headroom. Still got about 12" of headroom for the light to go up, ill just have to move the carbon filter to the side.

Still working this stuff out, I now know I can get 1/2 lbs plus of single large plants but it was a pain in the butt. Fighting PM and mites etc. on plants that big is next to impossible. Going to try SOG style and put 6 clones in a 100 litre tote and flower them after I top them once, maybe twice and try for 1-1.5 oz's each. I have a perpetual setup with enough room for 4 large totes so I could be getting double that every 35 days or so lol

So I'm going out of town for a couple weeks. Pop's is gonna care for my garden, and I'm trying to make everything as simple as possible. Picked up a 20 gallon tote, and 85gph pump, some 3/8 tubing, and a piece of 3" pvc. Ive already got 3 inch Uniseals from another project. It seems pretty straightforward what I'm doing, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Here is a professional sketch I had commissioned for my idea. I chose a tote that was as close to the height of my 10 gallon tote, with the most capacity.
