Private Messaging ...

Someone sent me a private message. I tried to reply to them, but it wouldn't allow me to. Do members need a certain number of posts before you can send a private message?

Yes, Rollitup forum members can use the PM service after they have more than 25 posts. But that doesn't explain why you had a problem. Maybe the sender has his settings to not receive Private Messages. Let me know if the problem continues.

The same person messaged me again and I am still unable to reply to his message. If you have the ability please look into my messaging box, see who has sent me the message and if you can see if his profile is set to not recieve private messages.

I cannot look at your private messages, that's why they are called "Private."

But I can see it if you click on Report Post. So just go into that message, and click on Report. I'll see what I can find.

I heard back from the sender, he did infact receive my reply private message, but for some reason my sent messages are not getting logged / stored in my sent file.

You have your options set to not save a copy in your sent folder. Go to My Rollitup, General Settings, and change that option.

I figured that was that case too, glad I found this thread. Next I have to figure out how to upload a pic for my avatar? ....
