Plushberry is TGA's Black Cherry Soda x Space Queen ( http://tgagenetics.com/strain2.php?id=12 )

Plushberry was the first offering of a Kush variety from Subcool Seeds. Plushberry was also the first TGA strain I popped due to its 20/80 indica leaning genetics and BCS parentage, a combination I simply had to check out.

We popped 5 beans and got 3 strong females that were grown out in 10 gallon SmartPots with Sunshine Mix4 soil (plus perlite) and BotaniCare nutes at 75% strength.

These 3 Plushberry were not run as 1 gallon testers first like I usually do. They skipped right to 10 gallon SmartPots due to circumstance so we had no idea what to expect. Once they hit bloom it was obvious that we had 2 main phenotypes, #2 and #3 are extremely similar (most likely BCS dom) while #5 is the different one (most likely Space Queen dom). I made a pretty big mistake by not controlling my canopy and understory properly and paid for it with smaller, less developed buds than we like to grow. Our Plushberries went wild, needing much staking up to control their growth. I would recommend heavy pruning early to direct the energy exactly where you want it with the Plushberry. Next run we will absolutely prune heavier than normal for our garden, I think it is what the Plushberry needs to produce to its potential.

Plushberry smells absolutely amazing throughout bloom and really kicks it in while hanging to dry. I have never smelled anything so sweet, it was almost overpowering. I love the Plushberry smell.

Let's see some images and the details...

-----------------------
Plushberry #2: aka Wild Child #1. The explosive growth of this pheno was incredible and I was not prepared for it. I left way too much growth on the plant at the start of bloom and the overall success suffered accordingly. Still an amazing plant but in no way grown to its potential. The aroma is intense and just gets better with cure, like sweet candy when you open the jar. The taste mirrors the aroma, just not as intense. Resin crystals coat all surfaces. The high is clear sailing. PB#2 is a possible keeper...

RESULTS:
Plushberry #2: yield: 346g / m[SUP]2[/SUP] or 173g / plant
trim: 5 - medium difficulty
aroma: 9 - intense candy sweetness
look: 7 - coated in resin, light pinks purples and greens
taste: 7 - sweet and sour candy
high: 7 - smooth, clear, appetite stimulant, effective pain killer
SCORE: 35

LAB RESULTS:

-----------------------
Plushberry #3: aka Wild Child #2. Just like PB#2, this pheno has incredible growth, overspilling its space and needing to be staked up and managed. Again, I did not manage it properly and the buds suffered accordingly. This pheno should be aggressively thinned on its way to flower so that the energy is directed to the colas. Not as sweet smelling as PB#2 but just as resinous with a smooth, clear high. PB#3 is probably our 3rd choice for keeper...

RESULTS:
Plushberry #3: yield: 300g / m[SUP]2[/SUP] or 150g / plant
trim: 5 - medium difficulty
aroma: 7 - sour candy or Vicks vapor rub??
look: 7 - purple and pink hues, sparkling with resin
taste: 7 - sour candy
high: 7 - smooth, appetite stimulant, effective pain killer
SCORE: 33

LAB RESULTS:

-----------------------
Plushberry #5: aka Killer Nugz. She is absolutely brilliant, glimmering with sticky resins. Definitely showing the Space Queen influence, PB#5 took off towards the ceiling, forming brilliant, tricomb coated, multi hued, golf ball sized nugz that smelled so sweet from start to finish. Staking out was crucial for this pheno as she simply could not support the weight of her killer nugz. Again, better thinning pre flower would result in a much nicer finish.

Bomb!! I just popped 8 Plush - hoping for 2 keepers. This review was some nice inspiration! I've got a JTR Pink Lemonade Pheno for my first keeper - a pink and bcs dom plush would be ideal but we'll see! Awesme job man, I'm always so impressed with your posts.

Glad I have some plushes in week 4 of bloom, so I don't have to get as jealous as with your Cheesequake thread.

I have 3 girls, all seeming to show some different color already.

Love those high THC/CBN numbers, and beautiful shots. Can't wait to see what these girls have to show me in the next month.

Very nice I wish all grow reports were this simple and lab reports at the end to sum it all up great!

I'm assuming you'll be keeping the #5 and tossing the other phenos or do they have a place in your garden for lower thc strains as well

Another great report, hovering! +rep!

Reading your reports is like having a preview to all of my TGA gear I've got on the go right now. I've popped 5 Jillybean, 5 Cheese Quake, and 5 Plushberry ..... and you've written up killer reports on all 3 of them in the past few days!

Thank you for the info! It really is priceless!

We will be running Plushberry#5 again to see how she performs with my new knowledge :-)
thats what i like to hear. going for 20+ percent next time around!? wassup with some clones haha jk, but even the lesser phenos being 16% (still decent smoke) this thread will be the reason i join the many TGA PHENO HUNTERS. think im gunna be grabbing 2 10 packs of chernobyl and plushberry, gotta find that #5 plushberry or better and gotta find the golden ticket Chernobyl

Really liking the Plushberry reports. I put three Plushberry seeds in some Rapid Rooters on Cinco de Mayo, there was a "Super Moon or a "Flower Moon" that night. I figured I could use a little extra help from the moons intensity that night. The sprouts popped through the surface of the Rooters two days later. I was really impressed with the speed at which the seeds popped to the surface. All three seeds sprouted and looked very healthy. I also put three Qush in Rooters that same night. Only one Qush popped, but thats OK cause it looks really health, Indica dom. And that same night I also put three Jacks Cleaner 2 in some Rooters and they all sprout and looking really nice. I'm very excited to finally be growing some of TGA's gear.

Plushberrys Qush JC2 Plushberry & Qush JC2 double sprouts & double sprout

Has anybody ever seen a seed create a double sprout? I've never experienced this in the 15+ years that I've been growing.
