First REAL grow! DP Twilight and FS WWxBB - tiny cab + CFL's

Hi there! This is my first "official" attempt at growing... I have a tiny bagseed plant in week 5 of flowering to get nutes/lighting/pH/everything down pat before I waste seeds. lol. She's had a rough life but hopefully the smoke will be decent. At least now I know what to do, I hope. :eyesmoke:

I'm working with an awkward space, so I'm only germinating 2 seeds for now: Dutch Passion Twilight and Female Seeds White Widow x Big Bud

My set up is as low budget as possible and as such, is pretty ghetto to say the least.

Here's what I'm working with:
- 19x19x34 stealth cab
- 10 CFL's (60w-26w, 2700k and 6500k)
- 69cfm intake fan
- 117cfm exhaust w/ carbon filter
- AN Jungle Juice nute trio
- FF Happy Frog soil plus MG perlite
- 2 gallon smart pots

Here are some WIP pics of the awkwardly shaped ghetto cab that I'm now using as a tv stand lol:

Didn't take pics, but both seeds have tap roots and have been planted! Thinking the WWxBB will sprout first

I made one using an old intake filter that I took off my car (was perfectly clean tho), filled it with activated carbon, and sealed it off with some carbon filter pieces. Seems to work decently... still smell it a little though.

Well... WWxBB is going strong... Twilight not so much lol.

^ I know the light spectrum looks off in that pic but it's cause it's in the cab with my flowering plant. Has a 55w 6500k right over it like the other seedling.

Really not sure why it looks so sad and sickly... doubt it'll pull through, but I'm giving it a chance.

I went ahead and planted them both in 2 gallon smart pots because I didn't have anything smaller, and I did this with my last plant and it seemed to work great. Oh well... I'll give the little Twilight seedling a few more days before I germ another seed I guess.

Well... Twilight kicked the bucket... lol not sure what the deal was but the cotyledons just turned yellow and crisped up.

So... Now I have a Black Skull Five-O seed germing... let's hope this one works lol.

Day 10 from seed - WWxBB:

Can't believe how fast she's growing! I'm going to top her as soon as the next node lies a little flatter.

Day 5 from seed - Five-O:

Lol.. for such a fast finishing strain, this one sure is slow to get started! Guess that's the sativa in her... But the little seedling is looking healthy, and when I transplanted today, I noticed it has a REALLY long root for a seedling that size, so that's good!

Thanks! Yeah there's still a tiny little hint of purple you can see on the leaf that's twisted, but no where near what it was! Definitely a humidity problem which was easy enough to fix

Pretty resourceful too on the home made carbon filter I'm def interested to see how she turns out. Still gonna use jungle juice??

Day 13 WWxBB

This plant is crazy!! I feel like she's a good pheno... might consider trying to clone. It's growing SO fast! 2 days after topping and already has noticeable new growth forming. I fed VERY low strength nutes for the first time last watering. Basically eyeballed a tiny bit of JJ Micro & Grow as well as a tiny bit of Cal-Mag. Looks even greener and happier today!

Day 9 Five-O

Five-O is doing okay. Has a weird spot on one cotyledon that's been there pretty much the whole time. Also, the new growth is a strange yellowy purple gray color but I have a feeling that is caused by slightly low temps and think that'll correct itself once it gets a little bigger.
