I've been semi-following his grow and the first thing I noticed that was different between his "G13" and my "G13" are the leaves. My "G13" has thin leave's, more like a sativa but smokes like an indica, his "G13" has fat leave's. To me that was the first indication that it is not G13, assuming of course that the one I have is a G13

Mine came as a clone from a dispensary who does not supply seeds or clones, it was passed on to me because the city was coming down on the dispensary and he had to get rid of some plants. The only 2 people (not including the dispensarie's owner who supplied it) I know who claim they have smoked the real G13 say that mine is what they've smoked before so I'm only going on what I was told. I have since started calling her Delilah and stopped calling it G13 because I do not want to mislead anyone.

Now that the Dr. Greenthumb G13 validity has been disputed and confirmed that it is not G13, it's time to move on to his short flowering period Iranian Auto, that is NOT an auto, lol

I had some real G13 back in the day. Never have I smoked anything that stoned me that hard.
It was probably early spring or late winter of 2001, Santa Cruz, CA area. I took two hits, which was one too many, and was literally toasted (space-bubble style) for a good 5 hours. Never have my eyes been as bloodshot before or since.

The only high that has even compared was rolling up some red crystalline opium in a blunt.

And I think that is the best way to compare the G13 high to a non-G13 high. Does it feel like you just smoked some opium? If not... then probably not G13.

Right now I'm working with a Big Bud x Mr. Nice, and the Mr. Nice is supposed to be a G13 x Hashplant but I haven't found the G13 leaning phenotype yet. I don't think it is in there to be honest. Oh, but what I would give to find that high I've only been privileged to experience once...

Got a nice batch of 'the dopes' going, always had good luck with dr.g, g-13 is a myth anyway so it was a lie to begin with, goes with the territory

How does such a strain dissappear? Just like exodus cheese. I don't understand. Someone somewhere has to have it. Its sad really. In another 20 years what else will be gone? I enjoy some of thew multi strain hybrids for there taste, but if romulan or trainwreck or grandaddy dissappeared and I could never smoke them again I would be devestated.

Dr Greenthumb is a succesful proven breeder. People rave about his strains. His strains sell out all the time. He has been at this for sometime. Really think about it. What would he really accomplish with a lie of this magnitude? It just doesn't make sense what so ever.

I have had dealings with this gentleman, and I will say it again, from all accounts he is a straight shooter no BS kind of guy. People for what ever reason in life like to get caught up in drama. I don't get it.

He is a professional breeder, he breeds his plants for seeds an sells em, Since 96.
I havent personaly seen him grow em an pollinate an package em but as with all breeders I take there word for it.

I emaild DrGT maybe hell answer us if you guys didnt piss him off. lol
I hear hes grumpy.......
