so id say that im on day 42, i have 7 plants which came from bag seed collected over time so really i dont know whats what i do have one that seems to have a ton of orange hairs but really im a newb just sorta taking things one step at a time any ideas on a strain for the first one she looks...

why would u mount the boards like that, im getting close to having my lights set up and while running them full out im pushing 180f i cant see how thats gonna work out for u my production light (hlg 550) hits 150f im using a 240w drivers which push a tad more power out

how about the quantum boards my hlg 550 panels are at about 150f after running my home built light which obviously is pushing a tad more power the panels where about 180f .... i guess thats just how they work right ?

i have a 240 c2100a driver powering a pair of quantum boards and at full blast the driver is running at 150f i looked up the specs and it stated that up too 180f was ok but geez that pretty hot if u ask me ... i run a hlg 550 which has a 480 c2100a and that driver is 110f on the light running...

i ran ut threw a calc and it said id lose less then 1 percent at 25 feet which i think is aok i ran test today on one of my lights with the driver ontop of the heatsink and it ended up hits 150f in the center where i was just over 90 on the rest of the board so for me i think it makes alot of...

the drivers will be hlg 240 2100a

i guess i see the point but its not like we are talking anything crazy i know i have my sheet metal screw at probly 3 ft lbs or so which is surly enough to hold these boards

i am building a few quantum lights and was wondering how far away its practical to have the drivers away from the lights as really best case i have my drivers mounted like a ballast on the wall beside the lights the dc side of the drivers would probly have 15 - 25 foot dc leads im thinking that...

yeah really thats what i figured lol but 16 - 24 ratchet ropes might get a bit out of control but im sure i can find a elegant solution maybe ..... lol but u sure 1600 watts of quantum boards whould not be bat shit crazy over my trays ?

i mean honestly it could be the case that i have something different then i thought i was trying to do things fast and cheap as i could and i could not get my hands on real hlg boards and ended up buying counterfeit boards from this ebay link the actual led's do look that same to me but i guess...

im building a set of quantum lights too cover a 4x8 area i was originally looking to build 2 hlg 550 clones but it ended up where i have 4 (2 board light on a 8x26 heatsink). my question is would i be better off leaving the lights as 4 units with the possibility of adding a pair at a later date...
