    BLACK MAGIC POTTING SOIL

It's Osmocote, or some knock-off. They have an organic product, but as far as I know, if you see it in your soil it's probably not organic. The organic line is usually too expensive for potting soil companies to incorporate it yet without really jacking the prices. Also, it's a product of...

    Pests from homemade castings?

We leave the lights on 24/7. When the power goes out we have aprx 40 mins to get light on the bins or we lose all the worms. Found that out the hard way. I found this thread to be the best for answering your questions...

    Pests from homemade castings?

No prob! That site was a huge help to me when I was convinced the mites that were in the bins were the same infecting my plant. They're not. Also, it's 4:20 where I'm at, that's the best time of day to help. :bigjoint:

    Pests from homemade castings?

Most of the critters you see in a worm bin or box are eating decomposing matter, the pests on your plants tend to prefer living matter. The ones living in the bin don't typically harm your plant and they actually help break down larger food particles so the worms can actually digest them. They...

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

Update: I used the Forbid every 14 days since I received it and on opposite 14 day schedules I'm using the spinosad. Was able to fog my veg room and have moved more plants in, still spraying alternate sprays every 7 days. My plants completely bounced back and will be going into flower in two...

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

@Dr. Who I just want to start by saying that I'm sorry you had to witness that game in person. My condolences...Would've been a good week for Lions tickets. (That game was still a shit-show though) Thank you all for your help so far, I can't say that enough. I've honestly never let my plants...

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

I've used DE, the couple problems I have with it are the dust, application - can be a total bitch, and the upkeep - you have to keep up on it every couple days IMO. It works great, just a real pain in the ass all-around.

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

Does this look like the same thing to you? I know I have fungus gnats but if there were thrips and I didn't realize it, that would be understandable.

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

Cause I saw some on a bean plant that I was helping out with in an indoor Ag grow for my company and I went to the growweedeasy website and the shit on my plants looks like what they say thrips would look like on weed. Not the same as it looks on beans. I guess I'm doing the chick thing and...

Ugh, I shouldn't even be giving advice right now, beating myself up over bug infestations, but I know soil, coir and peat. I try! :bigjoint::peace::?:

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

These are in veg under very low fluorescent lights.(I've lost about half my lighting in the last 2 months) I've had some water issues, but it's usually on the dry end... these markings came before I was treating my mites

    Flushing

Sorry, I had read something there about not flushing organics, was the first link that came to mind. I agree, research and good ol' do-it-yourself.

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

I used Forbid and don't see any mites moving. What I'm worried about now is Thrips. See pics posted and lemme know what you think?

    Flushing

Not any worries on the term, it's just that there is a myth that if you're growing in soil you need to run a shit load of water through it weeks before you harvest and not run any nutes. Growers are starting to think in the big picture, like, how do plants actually live. If you do the typical...

    Flushing

Whenever I see a post about "flushing" I go to it about as quickly as I do a political forum...For the entertainment. If you're growing in soil you don't have to "flush". You flush a toilet, you leach soil. Roots and plants don't "flush". I don't know anything about hydro, but soil, doesn't...

Should I double up for mite eradication/control?

Alright, I didn't spray at 14 days since I didn't see any guys moving. I did spray outside and all-around the room for any chance of pests coming in. I've recently discovered thrips on an indoor grow at another location with some actual herbs and veggies that are being grown indoors(MI). I'm...
