    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

Hey Roger, Thanks so much for the help! I'll cut them tonight. I don't know what I'd do without everyone on this forum that's offered advice.

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

Hey guys, I'm back with more problems. I had to travel for work and my plants went under-watered for 1-3 days. They've recovered well since I watered them, but I now have an issue with a couple dead leaves. When the plants first started out, some of the leaves became bleached from the light...

what is the best led light cheap

I'm not an expert grower (I'm barely a novice), but the reviews on those lights are incredible. In fact, between the few lights they have for sale they have hundreds of 5 star ratings, and very few low ratings. People post pictures of their crops (all types of plants), and report how efficient...

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

Ok, so things are moving along. No real issues I'm noticing. Here are the pics from today. The leaves seem to be coming in very close to each other, I'm just not sure if that's normal or not. The lights are still at 29", and the temps are staying pretty constant between 77-82. Still no new...

    Droopy auto????

Interesting post. I'm new to growing, and can't help much but I experienced a similar issue a couple weeks ago. Question, have you used that LED before? Do you know how far away it is from your canopy?

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

Hey Tony, I'm glad you posted here. I'm having a hard time finding info on the VIPARSPECTRA's here or on similar forums. Keep us posted on how your grow goes, and if you figure out a solution. Thanks

Why do you newbs always grow auto's?

Hey White, You helped me out with some advice a couple weeks ago, and I was wondering if you could help me with another problem. I posted the issue at the end of my thread, here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/discolored-and-mis-shaped-leaves.924106/#post-13064425 I'd really appreciate any help...

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

hey guys, I'm back again with some more questions. Things seem to be going alright, but I'm curious about node spacing and whether or not my plant should be taller. My Jack Herer strain looks pretty short, and is getting bushier, but hardly any taller. Does this have to do with my lighting? My...

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

OK, so things seem to be going alright. Temps are good, lights are good, but now I am reminded of another problem. Watering I am using 2 gallon smart pots (fabric) and have been doing a light water every couple of days when the soil gets dry down past my knuckle. I don't water until it pours...

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

So, I adjusted the light to 28" (was 22.5") and the leaves are no longer pointing downward. Thanks so much guys, I really think the LED was too close. The temp didn't change much (about 1/2 degree).

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

You know what? You're the first person to say that, but I think there's a good chance you're right. The only consistent factor I've had among these 3 plants (and the one before) is my light. The manufacturer says to keep it at 36" for seedlings, and gradually lower to 24" for the rest of veg...

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

Hey, thanks in advance for any help. Here are some pics I took under natural light. You can see that one of my JH plants (6 days) seems to be growing very slowly, with discoloration on the leaves. The other JH plant (11 days) is growing well, but has a strange discolored patch on one of the...

    Discolored and mis-shaped leaves

hey guys, I really hope someone can help me out here. I was growing my first plant for the past several weeks and it ended badly. Previous Mistakes: I gave the plant excess nutrients I had the plant in a pot with no drainage I could not control the temperature (too hot) I replanted some seeds...

Autoflowers indoor - It really is that simple

Hey, I'm having an issue with my grow and was wondering if you'd be willing to check out the pic on my thread and offer some advice? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! https://www.rollitup.org/t/viparspectra-led-first-time-grow.922262/#post-13011656

    VIPARSPECTRA LED- First time grow

OK, so it's day 17 and this morning my plant looked pretty good. The soil still had some moisture, not much, and I added more water. I also lowered the light from 16" to 14"... 20 minutes later my plant was droopy. Does this look like overwatering? Or was the light too strong? Could it be the...

    VIPARSPECTRA LED- First time grow

Thanks so much for the input! I'm really excited about learning to grow. I have 5 more auto seeds being delivered today (Jack Herer from SeedSupreme), and hope to gain more experience before starting photoperiod strains. I'll buy a pH tester today, I can't believe I haven't already done that...

    VIPARSPECTRA LED- First time grow

Ok, we're about through the weekend and I think my plant is doing OK. I got the sea kelp nutrients yesterday and only mixed 25% of the recommended dose. She seems to be growing well. I feel like there's been noticeable growth since last night. Problem The lower leaves on the plant, and the...

Nice! Is that from an auto? Are you using nutes? If so, when did you start adding them?

    VIPARSPECTRA LED- First time grow

After reviewing more threads on this forum posted by experienced growers I think I'm comfortable to continue, and will use this thread to document some general notes. It's Day 13 into veg, and she's continuing to grow. To me, she appears short compared to other people's plants at this age...

Autoflowers indoor - It really is that simple

HighLow, thank you for posting this. I am new to growing and have started with an auto. I have my plant in a 2 gallon pot, and she's 13 days in. Are you saying that they will do OK in these smaller containers? I posted a couple of pics. Do you see anything I need to do to improve this closet...
