oh yeah... if your not using seedling tray(I bought a $2 one from ebay china its a 12 cell small enough to sit on top of my wireless router for heat), and your surface is flat, u will have to flip the rooter upside down to sit on its own... then put a hole in new top, and treat it like the old...

i use them... I used to keep em in a small seedling tray, a small dish that holds about 1/8th of an inch of water, or just drip water on em to keep moist... I tried em in a seedling tray with a dome a couple times and hated the results... took me a long time and a lot of seeds before I found out...

man I remember this newb post...lol...im still a newb don't get me wrong,,,but my thought of topping was, cut off a big part of the top of the branch, or stem... smh... I didn't top this one, but her sister(same age) was topped(cut in half) bout two weeks after I took cuttings off this one...smh...

this time around my temps have been 77 off 82 on...I also have 3 more mars 300's so hopefully that practice payed off...I hope it was nothing I did (I just feel like I made them go soft) that will happen to my current grow...vegging 10-12 weeks then flowering another 10 is a lot of time...
