When starting to grow I would just use plain potting soil...maybe a little worm castings mixed but...but dont go crazy with the worm castings...a 1:10 ratio of castings to soil should be plenty...I use FF Ocean Forest with nothing else added because its hot enough already....just mix in some...

When I made it there was no odor...when you let it cook if the moisture is correct you will have no odor's....just smells like soil...better yet...like super soil I hope that helps...

Hey everyone...just wanted to let you all know how amazing this soil recipe is...I made a half batch a few months back and let it cook for a month or so...I have some Jilly Beans (2 females) which I had placed into 7 gallon bags and tied down to make a nice thick bush...though I almost lost them...

I would do only 1 plant if you have smaller lights as you do...just grow out half of the seeds and find the best couple of plants...sex them and clone...that way you can just keep 1 or maybe 2 going at a time...

That should work fine...any air being expelled should be filtered and your set up will work...good luck...
