I tried GSC from 4 different dispensaries & was not super impressed with any of them. Than I found the real deal & I am lovin it. It truly is unique, I can smell and taste the og cross in it & it has a heavy kush smell if you know what I mean. If you haven't found the real deal don't give up...

In my experience, buds in hydro do fill in faster but that does NOT mean they mature faster, the plant matures at the same rate it would in soil the buds just fill in faster in hydro.

I'd suggest trying to move your exhaust fan next to your light so it pulls the heat out immediately and maybe pull the light up 6". Also, the overall quality of OG will be better if you can keep your temps under 75.

how many gallons are you filling your reservoir? Drop the ph to 5.7 og really likes a low ph....

Ok, I use FFOF and get great results....but this side by side experiment is moot since you did it from seed and let me explain to you why. Seeds carry different phenotypes, the fact that the buds are bigger in the FFOF and they're not stretching could simply be that the seeds carried...

just freeze it, put the leaves in a ziplock bag and in the freezer over-night and make it in the morning(no need to let it dry)

no, trim as much leaf matter as possible without snipping any buds off. buy a good pair of trimmers.
