    The Irish Growers Thread!

I want to try regular seeds next grow, I have one auto left it's a week old on Monday, I'ts doing very well. I'm going to up the lights from one 250w cfl and add in my other daylight 250w cfl so it should be interesting then. then in the meantime I want to find a bigger wardrobe so as I can...

I couldn't get any calmag. I don't even like Biobizz soil, the only reason why I bought it was because there is perlite in it, the day that I went to buy perlite they had none so I had to get it, I use soil from a garden center and add my own perlite but on it's own there is no drainage so...

What soil are you using? Biobizz lite mix How much/often are you watering! Prob not enough, I let soil dry out before I add more sometimes the pot could be really light for a few days before I re-water/nute again When did you switch nutes? started nutes at nearly 3 weeks old, 1/4 dose. then...

Cheers mate, I will have a low yield from these 2 because they are in small pots but the new one that I have planted now is in an 8 ltr pot so it should hopefully grow much bigger. Getting a rotation going from now on say I'll start another one every 5 weeks from now on then hopefully I will...

Lol, I put them upwards when I water them, allow them to drain and put them back into the closet flat again, Yes the ambient temp here where I am is rising up again, the room is back to the high 50s nearly 60 f now, it was such a cold winter here but hopefully it will get even warmer soon, I...

O right so with regular seeds I can switch to 12/12 whenever I want? another reason why I use autos is the room that I am growing in is too cold at present with the lights off it goes down to below 53 deg f so a 12 hour lights off schedule is not a good option because I read that below 55 deg f...

Cheers mate, I think that I'll leave it so for another week or 2 until it's properly ready because I don't think that I ever harvested a plant fully, I have another one started this week, 7 days old today, I'm trying to get a rotation going but I reckon that I'm 4 weeks behind with that.

Hi guys, it's been a while since I last posted on here, at the moment I am growing 2 auto ak plants both of which are 8 weeks old tomorrow, they are both budding well under 1 250w 2700 cfl with 2 35w daylight cfl bulbs, I have a few pics to show and I am wondering would they be ready yet? The...

    The Irish Growers Thread!

Cheers mate, I never actually misted the plant, I was misting the soil around it, I know of at least 2 mistakes that I made so far. 1. I compressed the soil to much when potting up and 2. I never ran water through the soil before using it for the first time. Basic Noob errors.

    The Irish Growers Thread!

Cheers, I will let it dry out fully, another thing that I might have done wrong was when I was potting the soil I think that I compressed the soil a bit too much into the pot. I have a meter for checking the wetness/dryness for the soil and I'm finding it difficult to push it down thu the pot I...

Cheers for the advice mate, but it's an auto flower, and I thought that autos are best put in their final pot to stop stress. I will be starting regular seeds from now on.

Yes it's only on the one Cotyledon , the other one looks deformed + it's tip is black or grey + its feels dry to the touch at the tip only, I will post more pics as soon as I switch the light back on at 7pm. O by the way I am using Biobizz light mix with extra perlite added and watered with 6.9...

    The Irish Growers Thread!

Veg setup is a small kitchen cabinet that was used here for storing food it's about a foot wide, 10 in deep and around a foot high, my 12.5 liter pot would not fit properly in and still be able to hang a light over the top nor was it good for getting the air flow going so I cut the shape of the...
