Day 55 SSH yellow leaves pics

Looks done to me. The yellowing is to be expected near the end, the plant takes nutrients from the leaves. Looks like you have some light bulb burn. Flushing? What is this flushing you talk about? Sounds like nonsense to me.

Cfl yield per plant? whats everybody getting these days

Everything chopped, dried, and in the jar. 320 watts of CFL power! 4 weeks of vegging. 8 weeks with one and 10 weeks with the other, of flowering. The whole time I used a Miricle Gro knockoff that was 10-10-10. My grand total was... 116 grams! (4.09 ounces). Because it was grown with CFLs...

First Time Grow under CFL Light

That is one good looking plant you got going. You showed the plant, but not much of the hardware. If you want advice, I'd say that 27C is a bit high for a flowering plant, better to keep it around 25C.

New grower and new cfl grow

Herbies seems to have a good rep. I have ordered from BC Bud Depot a few times with good results. I like their God Bud, does the job and is advertised as easy for beginners. I would look for a strain that is easy, and then the effects you are looking for.

    Drying huge colas

Once I saw the fur of mold, I freaked. I got tweezers and magnifying glasses and tried to remove it all. I finished cleaning two ounces and went back with a black light to see my handy work- G.D. it! it had all grown back! I tried to bake the mold out. I tried to make hash of it. And it all...

    Drying huge colas

I grow only a couple of plants, and that lasts a year or so. Recently I harvested the biggest cola of my career. I had visions of drying it out and slicing off what is needed, like the prime rib guy at a Vegas buffet. But, my previous crop was ruined by mold, which seemed to grow from the inside...

Day 54 of Flowering Strawberry Lights , First Time Grow

More lights, and different lights, too. And stop picking at the damn thing.

    damn gnats!

Sometimes I get 'em and sometimes I don't. Doesn't bother me either way. Water a little less. Have a small fan blowing across the soil. Add extra soil if the pot will hold it. The gnats eat nothing. The grubs don't go below two inches from the top. Minor inconvenience that might make a small...

    Blockhead ready yet?

I'm not an expert. I go with the pistil color. If most of them are brown and curled inward, it's ready. I'd say, ready Freddy!

New grower and new cfl grow

Looking good. Very clean and organized. I bet you pull 3 ounces or more from just the lights you got.

    is it time to harvest?

I use cheap CFLs. Seems the cheaper the better. At the end of the grow I had 320 actual watts hanging. Some of the pictures can be seen on my journal. I don't want to get into an argument as which is better, but I'm able to grow a personal stash for little money. The electricity is...

    is it time to harvest?

I just pulled 100 grams from a CFL grow. I know it is a bit of a milestone to complete a grow (congratulations!) but to think your puny results are only because you used CFLs means your next grow will have similar results even if you use NASA approved XL-23 laser beams.

    Can someone date my plant?

Not just different strains, but different plants. And even different parts of plants. I had two plants going, same seed batch from same supplier. One finished at 8 weeks and the other is still packing on the weight at 10 week. The one that is still going grew a big ol' bud from the bottom branch...

    Light proof 5 gallon buckets

I go with cheap wastebaskets (which can be used for around the house), drill plenty of drainage holes, and then wrap with aluminum foil.

    1 ounce 4 CFL bulbs?

I grew two plants using 320 actual watts CFL. I used three gallon pots of soil. I vegged for four weeks, and am in week 9 after flipping to 12/12. I chopped one down yesterday, having harvested a few lower branches. I estimate from the dried weight of the lower buds, that I will get right around...

32w cfl light keeps tripping circuit breaker

I like to grow with CFLs because it is safe. I guess when you start rewiring then the whole safety thing is up for grabs. I use lots of surge protectors, I don't plug more than two lights into any extension cords, and I use low wattage bulbs. If I had confidence in my ability to electrical...

    Drying Big Fat 10 Inchers

Thanks y'all for the advice. The dehumidifier was intriguing, and the "Ocean" fragrance might be a selling point. I went with the safe choice and cut the big kahuna into smaller nuggets. It would have been cool to walk around with a bud the size of my thigh and slice off bong hits like the prime...

first cfl grow... just want opinions from experienced people

Huh? Yeah fans, always. Three. One to move upper air, one to circulate air through buds, and one to blow across soil after watering to keep the bugs from making themselves at home. Want to know when you have too many CFLs? Never! Every penny spent on electricity will come back to you with...
