I would say the same thing usually but since he only has 1-2 weeks of veg, he definitely could fit more in. Maybe have 4 rows of 4 and shoot for an ounce off of each for a total of a pound? You could get more yield with a longer veg time but the plants would take up significantly more space...

Seedlings many times have reddish or purple colored stems when they first pop up. Make sure the light is close enough and over to plant to make sure there is no stretching or bending. Just focus on the new growth up top and the stem will straighten out, thicken up and grow towards the light.

Well I guess in nature, the flip would be gradual but you can just change the timer from 18/6 to 12/12 to start flowering. Some people even do an extended dark period to initiate flowering.
