It is frustrating at times and takes a while to get it "just right". PH is one of those things Ive never been overly concerned about but I have dealt with it in the past and found it not worth the hassle.

Sounds like you have an ideal setup. Grab some MG potting soil to mix with the surrounding soil for the pot mix, and the fence, and that should be all you need!

60 plants is too much in one area, especially if youre doing it in the woods near your house...it will be easily spotted from the sky. Keep it small, keep it safe. 10 lbs =10 plants at most...no need for 60

Not a bad idea, I would be careful with the temps inside the lamp shade. i use 6x26W and it gets pretty hot in my cab without fans.
