All I know is I love my 357 magnum 2012 model! I have it side by side with a 400 watt hps on super lumens setting. Buds under the led are noticeably bigger and the plants are very healthy.

I believe it's about spectrum. Mh is more blue and hps is more red/yellow. This is to mimic the sun and natural stages of growing. But yeah, hps works for the whole grow if you can't afford a good mh.

Yeah, you know how many doors would be knocked on?! Lol hydroponics/indoor growing is legal. The supplies are legal. It's what you choose to grow that makes the difference.

Um yeah, I'd throw them into 12/12 now if you don't want them taller than 3'. 15-18" in less than 2 weeks? How far away is your light?

How could anyone help you? Either your light is out or something else is wrong. Either way, it will have to wait til you can deal with it personally. I don't think 12 hours darkness at this point will hurt it so long as you can get it back on tack ASAP. People have their timers fail all the time...

Just wondering...I start my seedlings with my digital ballast on 250 watts. How old/big should they be before you would kick it up to 400 watts? I've got a couple grows in now but just looking for opinions and feedback. Oh, growing in soil, 5 gallon buckets, 10 plants, 4'x8' room, 3x 400 watt...

Keep them in veg with cfl's til last frost is done then guerilla that shit if you're that broke. Not the best solution but indoors ain't getting any cheaper.

Ok, I have a tent I've used for both veg/flower. I want to build a veg only area. How many cfl's do I need to germ & veg 10 plants for 3-4 weeks? After that, I'll move them into my flower tent. Thanks :)
