Thanks for the info mal_crane :) What I think I'll do is replant 4, wait a day or two to see if they live (to make sure I'm transplanting correctly) and then replant the others. That way, if I screw it up at least I'll still have a few plants.

Okay, before you take psyclones advice TURN THE POWER OFF! The way they wire a house light, is the power (active) comes from the switchboard to the light fitting, which is then looped to the switch and then to the light globe itself. Trust the electrician :P

Fire? Dude.. I really can't stress enough how much electrocution really really REALLY fucking hurts, not to mention there's a high risk of dying. Junction box. Its worth the effort and they even come with blue-points (called connectors in some countries).
