    HHP's 10K HPA Build Thread!

Hey... I have to catch up around here sometime... I'm focused on other things right now, life has been fairly tough on me and I am just trying to preserve my lifestyle but often think about finishing my last chamber design and all of you guys... Hope all is well with everyone and glad to see...

my gravity fed air atomizing aeroponic system

Had fun catching up on your thread... Good to see you guys and your current projects. :) I still have pretty much everything I need to produce my AA chamber- It's a slight joke by now- but I really hope to get it going someday if I could find the time and motivation to do it... -I know it was...

High Pressure Air Atomized Aeroponics Design-grow journal

Ahh perfect, so you know what you want and why. My system is easily turned to solar with just adding the panel, I really considered it at first, but decided it was easy enough to add later... Even with power, hope the hurricane doesn't give your plants a haircut... :) oh, and from personal...

MY DIY 21st Century 'Flood' & Drain

Without having done any research, this was also my first thought in terms of how effective of a strategy it might be in this case. So, how exactly do you judge your ripeness and chopping date yourself? I suppose we shouldn't forget to place some emphasis on proper curing in the final result as...

MY DIY 21st Century 'Flood' & Drain

I'd like to try the Brix meter method as it is supposed to be the best way to measure sugar content and therefore ripening. I assume sugar content in flowers also coincides with ripeness as in fruits, but have not studied enough about it to form a solid opinion. Obviously great results can...

High Pressure Air Atomized Aeroponics Design-grow journal

Sorry man... I've been through life's ups and downs throughout my HPA ventures myself. It seems to have started with Cavadge and run down the line... Things always get better, wishing u the best! It's cool in a way how these projects kept my mind busy and off the other tragedies abound...

High Pressure Air Atomized Aeroponics Design-grow journal

Okay, so it seems you have a decent understanding of things and have some ideas in your head. After my experiences- I would really recommend going smaller the first time- you may have to re-do some things and small is less investment of time and money, and is more nimble in being able to...

MY DIY 21st Century 'Flood' & Drain

I know this is old, but I'm just catching up... For what it's worth I have the same r.o. setup- but I found some clear tubing that slips snugly over the top (3/8?) of the spout and reaches down into a 5 gallon water bottle. Once the initial rush of the reservoir has emptied it still continues...

    Room30's HP Aero Cabinet

Agree with r0m. I'll add you need to understand how crisp your cycles need to be and why. Ideal situation is a solenoid per nozzle just a couple inches away max so you don't get mist run-on. You can use 3/8 tubing after the accumulator and it won't matter what size the pump's outlet is...

Constructing a Homebrew Atomix Air-Atomized Aeroponic System

Hey fatalflowers- all sounds good. I jave not settled on any aa nozzles but promise to post here my findings when I do. I know I keep saying it, but soon- very soon. Just happened to find an amazing girl who I can see spending the rest of my life with- so you know how it goes- we're hanging...

MY DIY 21st Century 'Flood' & Drain

I know this is old by now, but I'm finally finding time to catch up... I can say with fair confidence they were short on nitrogen... Simple to fix by upping the ppms...

Testing Beneficial Bacteria in Ebb and Flow (AK47 with Great White)

For every person he's rubbed the wrong way, he's been a favorite to a hundred others. Mostly I see a certain personality type not appreciating or understanding him- and that's just fine- no need to post, just keep moving along and find what meshes with your personality. I for one joined this...

    True HP Aero For 2011

A 2gal tank should hold somewhere around .25 gallons-.5 gallons (depending on the pressure charged to). It'll fill up under one minute and you should use a pressure switch to do all the work for you...

    True HP Aero For 2011

use a online calculator to convert litres and gallons... I think it was 1 liter of nutes per 100 litres of air, however I'm not sure right now and it's best to backtrack to his formulae. Remember, it's only a guideline and you might end up saturating heavier than that in your real world...

    True HP Aero For 2011

Wow- lookin nice man- nice thick stalk! I'd love to learn more about your moonshine technique- jus be careful, quite a few people have gone blind or died by accidentally over-producing methyl-alcohol instead of ethyl-alcohol in their home alcohol production. :O

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Damn nice work... Yes, the venturi design you settled on is great- the same design used in nutrient injectors. There is also another mod you can perform on your pump- called a mesh-mod where you use something like cut strips of scotch-brite pad for the impeller arms instead of the rigid...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Although I'm with James on this one, thanks for this article- it puts it in perspective and has me less concerned. When given equal opportunity to avoid styrene in favor of something else, I will- but I won't treat it like concentrated formaldehyde ;)... I think I try to avoid cumulative toxic...
