    Seed companies and reviews.

Can't say enough about Baker Creek. Top quality, amazing germination, great service, and fair prices. Another is Mountain View Seeds (www.Mvseeds.com). Thier annual border is one big smile.

    Nor Cal DollarTree Outdoor Grow???

That's the least of it. They are also bagging up the leftovers of what qualifies as fertilizer. Read "Fateful Harvest" cheap on Ki del and a wake up call. Heavy metal.

    MaiNiaK Mountain 2016 Outdoor Expedition

You don't need pressure treated framing lumber, only the sill plate next to the concrete. And, anything below ground. Moisture is what rots it. You also run the risk of off-gassing chemicals if you use it above ground. Just a fyi.

Solar garden light keeping my plant in veg?

Be mindful of whether or not it's waterproof if it will be near water. There are nursery heating coils available. Idea for starting earlier outdoors in the spring. I think Farmtek(.com) may have some. I'm in somewhat the same spot and hoping wrapping them in plastic works. At least the end of...

A question about curing and relative humidity from jar to jar

Seems to me...you have reduced the volume of "unoccupied" air in the jar, so the humidity would increase. There's a mechanical engineering term for this, but I can't remember enthalpy???

First, I'd get a soil sample at your agricultural college. Not sure if you can be up front about looking for cannabis soil, but a good start.

Who else agrees that big box store nutrients are just fine

Here is a great read that will put you off inorganic fertilizers forever. They're allowed to recycle industrial waste that has nitrogen, potassium and phosphate, and sell it as fertilizers. Ironite, a big box fert, is a great example. Kindle has "Fateful Harvest" for 99 cents. A real eye...

    Thank you tea party patriots!

Which began the phenomenon we now call "homeless". I was there and watched mentally ill people wander the streets and live in parks. He turned helpless people into homeless people and for that I know he's got a special place in the worst place Christians threaten each other with.

    doublejj Carport Greenhouse discussion thread

What a treat to find this thread! This is a low key year for me...too many distractions...but I do have about 1/2 a 'script and about to get the hoop house ready to finish them under that great Farmtek greenhouse plastic you turned me on to last year. Retirement looks tasty, and that's after...

Cooking in China and then some

I think the chances of it being closer to hemp than high producing are excellent. Hemp reseeds along ditches with great abandon. Add to that the gweilo in China bit, and I wouldn't bother. Chinese prisons??? Not worth it. That said...if it could be done discretely, I'd harvest a bud, dry it...
