Running co2 in sealed room but smell is an issue!

I don't exhaust at all. Room is divided in two and I have 2 filter/fan combos circulating air between them. My temps get a little higher than yours (4kw) so I have a dual hose a/c to keep it around 85. Dual hose means no air leaves the room.

    Movable Vertical racks grow journal

Is that a light on the floor? Undersides of leaves don't take in a lot of light, might want to reconsider placement.

    Design advice needed

I had non-adjustable dams in my last setup, flooding was a big problem, ended up with a rotted floor and drywall. Everything worked fine until the roots got big. My new setup is more of a NFT style. Only concern with that is that the roots need to be long enough to touch the water. Not that hard...

    Vertical Grow

I'd say 2x 400w stacked vertical. I've done 6 inches stem-to-stem in a vsog with good success, though I've found most people tend to use 8 inches or so. Roughly 9 inches vertically from base of stem to base of stem should be enough, at least it was for me. Crowding will occur in corners if it's...

Help To Build a growroom, the best way I can

Your intake should be bigger. You generally want the intake area to be twice the exhaust area on a passive intake setup.

    Appartment growing, electrical questions, thx.

1875 watts you say? Let's use some quick math. A=V*W so that's about 15 amperes. You should never exceed 80% of a circuit's capacity (this is important, as this is how fires can start, especially if the building is older). This leaves you with 12 amps. Using that math again we can see that we...

    Exhaust vent into my attic?

It will heat up your house is all. I vented 2400w into the attic, house got damn hot in the summer, especially in the room near the exhaust. Free heat in the winter though!

    Hanging panda film/etc...

If it's painted white that's good enough, any gains from covering it in poly wouldn't even be noticeable. Paint or cover your 4th wall if you need to, as long as your room isn't super humid mold shouldn't be an issue. Just don't tape down the edges when you put it up, some air will creep in and out.

    Air Purifier ?

Could help with mold spores I suppose. Won't do much for odor though.

Just to clarify here, a bulb makes the same heat regardless of its orientation. Many people (myself included) find it easier to deal with the heat in a vertical setup, actually. The heat simply rises up from a bare bulb, whereas in a reflector the heat gets trapped. This means your plants can be...

How did you do in 2011?

I don't think I understand. If you never sold or smoked it, how was a narc even involved? And why spend so much time and money to grow 300 plants if they're just getting trashed? It's like working a full time job but refusing the paycheck. I must be missing something, here. Anyways, my 2011 was...

    Cheap alternative to Sensibloom?

I just use the AN sensi A/B without any additives. It's the additives that jack the price up without much/any gains. They're all marketing ploys. The base nutes are great, though.

    Smelly Leakage From CGE

I'm currently shopping for a mini split myself for this exact reason, only way to really seal it. I'm expecting to pay around $600 or so, you may just have to spend the extra money. The outside unit shouldn't look too strange, I'm in a cold climate as well and my house already has an outside...

    Heath's flood tube reloaded

Awesome, can't wait to see some pictures. This looks like it's gonna be pretty badass. Using T-fittings instead of cascading is another idea I'll be using myself. :)

Regular/horizontal you put the plants under the light. Vertical you put them around the light. That's it, really.

    Heath's flood tube reloaded

Hey there! I'm currently using a system modeled after Heath's famous setup but crammed into a walk in closet, and am working on a move up to a larger area. My tentative plan is to do something almost exactly like you are. I like the idea of using chains to hang the tubes, as this allows easy...

Have you done a perpetual grow with 400W and CFLS or something similar? Show me

Here's a pic from my previous grow a few years back. As you can see it was in a very small closet (about 2ft deep if I remember right). Those are 2x 250w HPS lights, but before I had those in I was using CFLs. It's 4x Rubbermaid type DWC "buckets". Each bucket was a different cycle, spaced 2...

    fulltilt poker?

i usually play the cereus network (ultimate bet to be specific) but play pokerstars every now and then (won $75 from a freeroll there). also won like $5 on FT through a freeroll but thats pretty much gone now. I'm definitely in the positives as far as the money goes, but not enough to be...
