    Mohican's 2015 Season

The picture is a little fuzzy but if you google them you'll know what you've got. If that is what they are I just read up that praying mantis eat them.

    Stink bugs, maybe?

    Consistency of vermicompost

I checked out that harvester you made grease, it seems pretty handy. The reason I'm questioning the castings you speak of is because I noticed that the castings I was sifting also looked an awful lot like peat moss as the op mentioned. I may have not had my worms working long enough, or some...

    Consistency of vermicompost

Ok. I just have found what I thought were the castings to be little granules. They got bigger when I fed chicken feed to the worms. I have also noticed small piles of castings out in the yard after it rains which are from bigger worms and they are even bigger than the corn fed red worms. I...

So, bigger worms don't have bigger poops?

Do they plant them along the border?

    Consistency of vermicompost

How many lbs of worms you have @greasemonkeyman? Sounds like you've got your bin petty well dialed in. How are the castings, big and fluffy, like coffee grounds or more fine like fine sand?

Silicon based plant created in lab

Do they have the same smell or do just have to put some perfume on them as a foliar to get the nice scents roses are known for?

    Anyone use a worm composter?

I don't think so. That's going to be tough. How much space do you have to dedicate to a worm farm? Those small farms are good for feeding your kitchen scraps to the worms but depending on how many worms and how much kitchen waste you have plus how much energy you are willing to expend on...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

That's almost 5 months. I wonder how that works out in the great outdoors. What's the other 7 months like in Thailand? Veg time? Do those plants get huge or what? How well do they yield, for you?

    Mohican's 2015 Season

Hey Mo! I've been lurking in your thread for awhile and I really like what you've got going on. All those breeding projects and the commeraderie you have with all sorts of RIU'ers posting here. I have a question, I believe you stated that outdoor plants finish by May. Is that the beginning or...

    Organic Grow Questions

I just recently acquired some rice hulls and I have lots of rice sprouts in my pots. They don't seem to be hurting anything yet. I may cut them down in a few weeks and use them as mulch. I figure the roots will feed whatever's below the surface too. I hope it is a good thing.

    water only

Why not? If you wash it well and only use a small amount? Do you have to dry it first? Or is it just not good for some reason? I'm asking about the seaweed or kelp.

What causes the flowering stage to happen?

Are you a botanist? That is a very thorough answer. I thought that plants were classified as annuals or perennial based on their genetics but it seems that many are based on how they are cared for. For example: Peppers, they can be brought indoors over winter and continue to produce in the...

What causes the flowering stage to happen?

So, are cannabis plants annuals, perennials or biennials...? What kills them in nature, frost?

    Yields when starting seed outside

Are those guns necessary for survival in Chicago? Out where I am at, eastern San Diego, surrounded by family and good friends, we don't need those. I am afraid of what I would do with something like that, probably get myself killed by cops or put in prison for life. What other "toys" you got...

    Yields when starting seed outside

I am sorry that my opening post led to such hurtful banter. Making fun of people, to be hurtful, is terrible. We should all be enjoying the fruits of our labor and be in a "higher" state of mind where disagreements don't turn us into psychopaths but allow us to gain new perspectives. I really...

    Yields when starting seed outside

Are you for real? Are you really that angry or are you just loving all the attention? I am imagining you taking these pictures with a big smile on your face and laughing because of the responses you're "triggering" with your comments. Hope you are having a nice day!

    Yields when starting seed outside

You are probably a great grower. I can only go by what you say. I don't think that we communicate well. I don't know if the way you communicate is meant to offend or if you're just joking around and I take it too serious or what. If you were truly just trying to pass on knowledge and I'm too...
