The stems on one of my plant is starting to have brown lines on it. It's not on all but it's on some, what could cause this?

I have two clones that are now 3 weeks old. I currently have them watering twice a day, at 9am and 9m, for 1/2 hr each. Does this sound about right or should I change it to 3x a day for 1/2 hr. This is in a hydro drip system.

I think I heard somewhere that a small spray of carbinated water would help your plants. Does this sound right? If so, would I do this during the vegitation phase or flowing or both? I'm guessing something like talking rain would work because it has no sodium or anything, just plain...

Right on, thanks. I'm going to post some pictures in the next couple days of my setup and what I have going so far. I'm an odd little system I have going that I made last night because I wanted a hydro system and a separate veg and flower room.

2 of the lights are 2700k soft white and 2 are 3500k bright white. I was going to keep the lights at that level for ~1 week and then move them up to 1 1/2' above after that for the of the veg period.
