I turn my lights off, take my pictures, then turn the lights back on. I'm talking about HID lights tho...anything else don't matter.

    Sweet and Perfect everytime...

As promised, here are some pics just before I chop...... This is a perpetual grow. You can see some of the up and coming crops in the background of the next two pics. I'll have to make a grow journal soon. Well... in a month or two maybe. It is that time of year after all. (busy...

OG Kush clones not budding- 5 weeks flower

If anything you have too much nitrogen for flowering. You can't just go by what other growers of a strain say. Unless you know for a fact it is an exact clone, same lighting conditions, same medium, same temp/humidity, same nutes , same feeding schedule....etc. That's why you need to listen...

    soils?

There can be quite a range of what different strains like, some like a really 'hot' soil, others like there nutrients in a slightly different ratio. You just got lucky matching the soil to YOUR particular strain. Go with what works, I always say.

    Og kush organ

Good point! It can be real tricky sometimes trying to diagnose deficiencies (especially over the internet) The first instinct is to look at the leaf and see which deficiencies match up with how it looks then you try and give the plant more of whats missing. BUT........ If its a PH...

    Og kush organ

The new pics you posted do look like magnesium deficiency. They have the classic look - yellowing from the tip, with brown spots. But I still suspect your PH is too low. Magnesium can start to get locked out in soil below 6.5 PH. The fact that you have been giving Cal-mag and are still showing...

    Og kush organ

No it doesn't look like Mg deficiency. Nor does It look like nitrogen, or phosphorous, or potassium, or calcium deficiency. Those are the usual suspects in a soil grow. And they all have a certain look to them. That mostly leaves Micro nutrients. I think you might have a PH issue. And the leaf...

    good Organic

Do you have any garden centers/nursery's near you? Most places at least carry some form of bat guano. look for any that's high in phosphorus. That's the P in n-P-k (middle number) that's the stuff you want for flowering.:weed:

    Sweet and Perfect everytime...

There is no one size fits all mix. I use a very strong mix that most plants would not like, its similar to subcools mix.... https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/44686-subcools-super-soil.html Start with a good base ( I use fox farm ocean forest). some perlite(I use about 20%)...

Do Your Plants Know the Difference Between Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers?

Yes, there is a difference between organic and inorganic fertilizers. The differences can be subtle and range from non-existent to quite large depending on the grow! (strain/light/size of plant...etc.) It's more a matter of using the right tool for the job. While it may be true that a claw...

bubbleheads member needs ya. 6 1/2 wks 12/12

I'm stumped. Your plants look generally healthy. Most deficiency/nute lockout show symptoms on either the new growth or the older growth. But never just TWO leaves. If no others leaves get the same look then your fine and it will just have to remain a mystery. But if any more leaves start...

He said it was only two leaves.... Makes me suspect outside influences. But like i said, not enough info for a true diagnoses.

    Fan leafs yellowing.

That looks very much like magnesium deficiency. It has the classic look - yellowing with little brown spots. And it tends to show about mid flowering. Use 1-2 teaspoon of Epsom salt per gallon of water during regular feedings. It should start to look better in about a week. Good luck!

    Somethings munchin on my plants

Perhaps I understated it a bit. Your right, you should always be on your guard for any problems whether bugs or deficiency. And you should always know the cause of any leaf damage you see. If you catch things early you can fix most anything. That being said... I don't think this is thrips. It...

7 weeks flower, skip 1 day cycle to change schedule, is this a problem?

The one exception is the last week OR two of flowering. If you raise the light hours to 13 or 14, or say leave the light on for 24 hours by accident, its too late in the flowering for it to have any real effect before you chop it. At least that has been my experience. Your mileage (or strain)...
