I bet she didn't look that yellow in person either, that is how my pics looked without the didymium lenses. You can get a cheap pair for like 15 dollars and just hold in front of your camera, I have a little more advanced lense for my glassblowing, but still just hold in front of camera!

I am using a 400 watt hps Gavita bulb! It looks like the light is off to you in the pic because I am using a sodium flare lens on the camera so you can see the true colors, but trust me it is on. Then I just added an assortment of cfl's and spotlight cfl's to help get some light under the canopy!
