So I can expect the plant to start growing again and produce normal buds in the end? Should i hold off on nutes until the leaves are back to normal? Also, would I still be able to top the plant after its back to normal? Thanks for the swift response folks

That is not the "official" setup, it's just what I found online before I reached out for help here. The instructions for my ballast are attached in the first post on a paper, but it can barely be understood as it's translated bad or whatever.

Sorry, I'm struggling to find the correct technical words as english isnt my first language on top of not knowing electricity well but I tried saying that I havent tried connecting the wires from the cable that goes to the light to 7 and 8. Been using slots 7 and 8 for the wires for the cable...

I tried with and without jumper cables , with grounding on the sides as shown in latest pics. Still only the ballast buzzing like its working and lamp not responding

Hi, the bulb is for sure HPS and I also tried an older HPS bulb that I know is working. I havent wired the bulb to 7 and 8 yet. Where would I wire the outlet cable in that case?

I already did because its hard to separate good from bad advice when you know nothing on the matter haha. The ventilator burned but the ballast seems intact. I will try as you and @MICHI-CAN suggested next. Thanks for being patient with a noob like myself.

Not arguing that grounding isnt important, I just dont know how to ground it right now as my ballast has no screws. Also it doesnt seem that the reason for the lamp fixture not working. Thanks for trying to help tho, im getting pretty desperate here, any input is most welcome

Again, i managed to power up a small ventilator with this ballast so it wouldnt seem its due to grounding, at least form i can tell

My ballast doesnt have any screws i can use like that. I thought its enough to just cover it with electrical tape but then again I dont know much about electricity lol

Also, I tested the ballast on a small ventilator and it gave it power . Does that mean theres an issue with the light fixture?

should I put a jumper cable between 5 and 6 even tho nothing else is going there? This is what i did trying to follow the advice in this thread, what do you think?

Hey is this what you meant? Im still alive but the lights are not working even with the jumper cables.

Im from a small town in Croatia, things are not readily available here as they are in the States sadly. Also now that I have purchased this I have to work with it *shrug*
