my sativa dominant plant is doing the exact same thing... buds started forming extremely slowly then got extremely fat and dense... now the tips of every bud is growing very very skinny and leafy ... it seems to start doing this after i flushed to try and fix a couple of issues i was having...

you could quick dry them in the microwave using the "steam method" i have found this to be the absolute best way to quick dry bud... only takes about 2 minutes the bud will still look the same but will taste like schwag or brick weed.. still will get you high though

I don't have an answer for you but I was curious if it also smells bad? or just the bad taste? is it harsh smoke?does it look like normal bud?

using this method definitely helped me cure the first plant i ever cut down which i harvested early cause it hermied... the RH percentages are definitely correct because once i could let the jar stay closed for 24 hours or more and never got over 58% RH the smell and taste got better every day...

btw these are obviously indica dominant they have been 12/12 from seed and are right at about 8 weeks since preflowers have shown.. 10 weeks from seed(yes they showed preflowers and had bud set by 2 weeks(seedling)) so if i remember correctly most indica dominant strains shouldnt take a whole...

well its actually still my first grow... i started with 4 bagseed 3 turned male 1 female... flowered her started 3 more seed 12/12 from seed... all 3 female.. so had 4 females. all 4 plants are/were in 3 gallon pots... i harvested the one plant and got a half zip off it and have the other 3...
