First grow not to bad this far. I really like the 260w Qb setup from HLG. I will definitely be going with more QBs in the future. I only did a little bit of LST but really just wanted to see how.it would grow on it's own.

Well I just took my 3 week old skunk to a 12/12 and will push more bloom nutrients to see if I can get her to flower early just as an experiment.

Are those the ones off Alibaba Express? I have the HLG 260 at the moment and absolutely love it. I wasnt sure if the DIY strips would be cheaper or not. I'll look into the fotop 800s more for sure.

I am not sure what size room I'll have yet. I would like to use an entire garage or basement when I move. Just getting ideas for when the time comes and I move.

How much did the full set up run you. I'm looking at building an LED setup for a large space but as always starting off money is a factor

So I decided to keep it small for my first build. I went with the HLG 260W kit. Grabbed a 3x3 knowing its bigger than what I need but once I expand will be used for clone and veg. For right now I'll have 2 plants to test my soil as well as nutrients. I just have to wait for everything to arrive...

Did the carbon filter you bought come with the sleeve or did you have to buy it separately. I was looking st the same one you have.

I know MSNL ships to the states and the prices are reasonable. Although it's been stated the NL doesnt have the more exotic stuff the guys on the east coast are making these days. They do still have some good strains at good prices with good deals when you can catch them.

Yeah I'll be setting up in michigan as well. Something tells me I'll be going through the same issues. Hope you get some good full flowers.

Would you still reccomend your setup and if so would you suggest any small changes. I have been reading a lot and I think I would be able to do everything I need to with your design. But before I start ordering things I would like to know your thoughts.

Yes I am new to this forum. But I'm not new to comparing prices of a product. I'm assuming a good majority of people pay the prices listed from US breeders. Which is just fine but I myself would rather buy something that will produce the same amount for a fraction of the price.

I get all my seeds from Amsterdam directly so it's not as ridiculous as the prices back home. Now with a lot of states going the legal route just give it like 5 years the prices will drop dramatically. But 200 dollars for 10 seeds to me just isnt worth it.

Neptune is WAY over priced.. I'm sorry you could travel to Amsterdam stay at a hostel go buy the same about of seeds and mail them to yourself cheaper.

HLG 120s VS 260s I would like to know if it's a huge difference in a grow. I would like to run 4 of either of them in a 3x3. I cant find the specs or any comparison on the quality for the grow. I dont wanna go overboard without needing to but I would like full plants healthy plants. No twigs...

I like this build. It's cheaper than the 2 panel 260 V2. But can you do a full grow under this set up.

I've seen so many posts where people do so many different things. It looks like just growers preference. I am going to run with the 260W QB V2 Kit for the 3x3 tent to give me the best lighting for the space. I want to grab one of the cheap lights for veg/ clone area before they go in the tent...

I want to build a quantum setup and not purchase something prebuilt. Trying to maximize how far my money goes. I want to build a setup to flower a 3x3 but not break the bank. Does anyone know if a place to buy the components of good quality for a good price.
