    Starting up- Seeds or clones?

Lol. I guess there's a slight difference in terms of weather between Nor Cal and Ireland. In an Aeronautic system, your autos will really take off, if you do it right, you can yield a lot. Exactly, at this stage, work your way up gradually and see how the plants respond. Cheers,

    Starting up- Seeds or clones?

Cool! Yes the smell will become more distinct as the plant grows. You seem to be doing pretty good.(: BTW autos need a large container almost right from the start because they will grow for a very short amount of time before they start flowering. I don't know where you are but May 20 is...

No, don't worry dude. If you keep treating and stay consistent, they will pull through for sure.;) Also, sanitise the grow room with bleach after the harvest and before you plant again. Yes their ubiquitous outdoors tho it's never a problem thanks to the many natural predators and the cold...

Where to get single autoflower seeds? live in U.S

Hey, In Europe, you can buy single auto seeds from Dinafem. I'm not sure they ship to the USA tho. That seed bank is a reputable one. I have tried their Mobby Dick and it was great. Cheers from Ireland,

frog skin like texture to leaves

No need to throw them away buddy. Apply neem oil every few days and do it again and again so all the eggs can hatch and then you can kill all the mites before the have time to lay new eggs. Just be consistent! ;) Cheers from Ireland

    banana?

Yes It's definitely in the genes. You can minimise the risks but sooner or later, the plant will grow some male flowers.

frog skin like texture to leaves

Hey Zephyrs, It looks a little like spider mites but it's hard to tell with a picture. Do you have a bunch of tiny white/grey/brown spots on your leaves? The resin glands could actually be spider mite eggs. Is it only under the leaves? Cheers from Ireland,

    Starting up- Seeds or clones?

It sounds good. Does your lemon actually smell like lemon? BTW, 24/0 isn't less good than 18/6 but it's a waste of power. Above 18/6 the plants "take a nap" at some point during the day. It doesn't grow any quicker. The only time 24/0 is useful is when you want to regenerate what's left of...

    banana?

I bought 10 northern light seeds from Sensi in Amsterdam once (Regular seeds). It cost me an arm and a leg and all my females turned hermie. Whereas I grew their Skunk1 3 times and I never had any problem with it. This is to say that no matter how much you spend on seeds, at some point, your...

    When to flip to 12/12

Yes Slinkysaurus is right. That way you will give your plant the shape you want it to have and you're not going to waste your space and electricity on a small one-bud plant.

    When to flip to 12/12

You can keep it in growth for as long as you want. Think about the farmers in northern California who start their plants indoors in February, transplant outdoors in April-May and harvest monsters in Croptober. Just keep in mind that your plants will stretch when you flip them to 12-12. The...

    banana?

LOL!! Yes. Me too. I'm sure it's the same thing with males tho. some of them would grow some pistils towards the end of the flowering cycle. That's why when I find a good pure female that's stable, I keep it as a mother plant and take cuttings off of it!

    Starting up- Seeds or clones?

Yes it's not gonna do them much harm if they stay in it for a few day. If you grow them in coco coir, you're going to need a fertiliser very specific. That's because coco lacks many of the micro nutrients naturally present in the soil.

Are Auto's Fertile? Can they be seeded?

If you think stabilising a strain doesn't happen over many selections based on the traits you wish to stabilise and if you think feminised seeds are as rich genetically as regular seeds, please explain it to us instead of saying that something is stupid. Cheers,

    banana?

It happens very often towards the end of the flowering cycle. Even when plants aren't being stressed. It's because many feminised plants have a little bit of hermie in them. At this stage I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just watch it and snip it off if it really looks like a banana.

    Starting up- Seeds or clones?

Hey GoatSoup, If you're a beginner I suggest you start with clones, as long as you buy it from a reputable source. There're a lot of unstable strains out there and some that even turn hermie, usually it takes a bunch of seeds to find one good pheno. For that reason, if you're limited to 6...

Hello fellow urban gardeners! I came across an add for free vegetable seeds on Facebook, I was sceptical at first but I went on their website and got one tomato seed packet for nothing! Didn't even have to fill out any card info. I think you have to live in the UK or Ireland tho.. I...

Are Auto's Fertile? Can they be seeded?

It takes a long time to stabilise a strain and you have to work with regular seeds or else you will end up with hermies and the gene pool will also get poorer.

    Auto Seeds

LEDs are probably the worst lights to have on when taking a picture so it's hard to tell how your plants are. I would say that you're doing pretty good though ;-)
