    400 Watt Vero29 V7 vs 400w digital HID/cool tube

Hi TogiX, Just because it doesn't have the newest chips, doesn't mean it won't kick ass. I've been growing with COBs for years. My CXB3590s don't crank out more yield or quality than my old CXA3070s. I'm not using Vero or Citizen. I'm using Cree. Proven Product. Of course you can build one...

Because it's built and ready to hang. You paid $575 for a light you had to build yourself?

    400 Watt Vero29 V7 vs 400w digital HID/cool tube

Save up Matt. Somebody that actually grows might want options. I've been building lights for friends with open boxes/frames for years. I wanted to offer LED grow lights with the connections safely enclosed in a box. They pay for themselves.

Building a 12-COB Citizen fixture for my first grow, help!

Use the 3500K for bloom. 5000K for veg. If you need to get quick electronic parts, wire, etc. Advance Auto Parts has wire and connectors and stuff.

Building a 12-COB Citizen fixture for my first grow, help!

I would run about 400 watts or so in that space. I use 350ma-700mA in veg. 1400-1750 works great in bloom. The setup you designed would be very efficient though. It would work absolutely fine. You're doing more COBs close together.

Need Information on Cal/Mag Deficiencies When Using Led Lights

I use Calimagic now. I guess it is because I started using COBs. Never used it with HID. The COBs increase photosynthesis. Which makes them hungry as fuck. I use GH 6/9. I add about 3ml Calimagic per gallon until about 3 weeks into bloom. The extra nitrogen in the Calimagic also really keeps...

    carbon filters

Can is great. I have the can- lites and regular can. The can lite is lighter and more convenient with the flange attached. (Nice for tents). The regular can is steel with a thicker carbon bed. They usually last about a year and a half before they stink. If you change them out annually you...

Where Can I Find Pin Fin Heatsink for 50w CXB3590s? They're sold out every where.

I bought some drivers from them recently. They ask a bunch of questions before you buy. And, I got an email before shipping asking me questions. I forgot you had mentioned them. Good thing I didn't say anything. I just told her personal projects and please ship ASAP.

Where Can I Find Pin Fin Heatsink for 50w CXB3590s? They're sold out every where.

Contact Robin at Northern Grow Lights to see when he's getting more. I've drilled and tapped. It's a ton of work. Avoid that if possible.

The Sun's spectral output compared to grow light spectrums

My COBs have been outperforming HPS for years. I've replaced all my HPS and T5 with COB. The quality and yield is incredible. I've also noticed happier plants finishing better and faster.
