i grow in the northeast, just a few plants to feed my weekend head, and i definitely have had animal issues. what i do is use a ring of rabbit fencing around the plant and then spray it with Liquid Fence that you can buy in most garden centers and hardware stores. spray the plants around it...

i would trim them a bit. it won't put the plant into shock. focus on getting rid of the bigger leaves, like 50%. you can save the leaves, dry them, and use them in baking brownies. although i grow very little pot, i am a BIG vegetable and fruit gardener.

it is amazing, but since i first posted this thread my buds have quadrupled in size and the plant looks awesome.

absolutely, i have done i before and it works. you have to eat more than you would smoke, and it takes an hour or so to get buzzed. it depends on whether you have an empty stomach or not. a stomach full of food slows down the absorption of the thc.
