:weed:this is my first cfl bagseed grow.. i know a lot of you dont like cfls, but due to cash and space issues, this is all i had to work with... its been in 12-12 for 10.5 weeks. 9 weeks from showing sex. ive been flushing w molasses and RO water for 1.5 weeks.. ive got about 20% amber...

hes not saying that all grows should look exactly like those pics, hes giving you an idea of what a ready plant looks like compared to one thats not.. people should look at more than just the trichomes.. like the hairs turning amber and receiding into the bud, yellowing leaves, swollen buds...

haha i still dont understand why ppl say it a waste of time.. all you are doing is turning your lights of the last 2 days BEFORE you harvest.. there for it would be the same as leavin the lights on... a good way to prevent mold would be to water a couple days n advance before turning the lights...

exactly... i think ppl need to learn to be a lil more open-minded... also i dont think mother nature prunes her plants either... infdjedi, in regards to your question about the 48 hours of darkness.... im gonna do it... if it doesnt maximize potency then whatever.. you wont be losing n e thing...

its bagseed.... and i will have flowered for 8 weeks today... very happy w the outcome!!! wouldnt have turned out this good without RIU!! thanks to everyone who helped me out!!!

well i was told it was an indica dom strain, so i just assumed it would take 8-9 weeks.... but i have no problem waiting a little longer... ive waited this long!! lol! seems like a lot longer than it really was tho.. do you know anything about putting the plant through like 24-48 hours of dark...

apparently this helps with the chloriphyl taste and helps the trichs get max potency.....

from what i understand, a lot of green thumb growers i know say its ok to add more N in the nutes to keep the leaves green on purpose. Inducing more bud growth... as long as the buds are cured correctly, then i should be fine... im also going to try a 48 hour dark period before harvest.....

my trichs were about 15% amber yesterday when i checked w my 40x scope. . . think i wanta 50 50 kinda high....... what do you prefer????

was just curious because im 5 weeks nto flowering a indica dom plant, and a a couple of my leaves are turning... wasnt sure if yellowing was normal this far in... n e help would be great. thanx
