Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Decided to get a jump on the outdoor garden this year and put a couple of tomatoes and bell peppers (one green, one yellow) in with the girls this weekend (after a very careful inspection for anything crawling on them). May as well squeeze as much value out of that wattage as possible...

Super Skunk. Still the easiest to grow indoor?

Well, growing superskunk seemed pretty easy to me, this year being the first time I've grown it. I did notice that it's very nute-sensitive early on and likes a very "cool" soil (I started mine in a 40/40/20 mix of seed starter, MG Organic, and perlite, and they just loved it). You're right...

Ugh, im a noob looking for advice

Maybe nothing; she may also be telling you that the nitrogen in your soil (?) is getting low. If the next set of leaves start getting pale, she's telling you she needs feed -- one where N is the leading ingredient. I use Foliage Pro personally (9-3-6 NPK); there are many.

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

A pic of one of the buds I seeded, and one of the seeds it kicked out. Check out the fried leaflets (no other bud leaf on the same plant looks like that). Curiousity got the best of me, and I teased that one bean out. She's about 2x the size of the original beans I bought (2nd pic - my bean up...

    Help!!

I don't have any real outdoor experience, but Google up Mandala Seeds and check them out. They regularly back-cross landrace plants into their strains to build in drought- and heat-resistance. Of course, you have to buy into their claims, but Mandala is very well-regarded by longtime breeders...

    fox farm soil bugs

What kind of bugs? Delicate little flying critters? Those are fungus gnats - they're in all potting soils; don't cause any real problems beside annoyance.

    Grow with other plants

Generally shouldn't be a problem. Be sure, though, to inspect any plants you put with your MJ for pests. For example, spider mites can live on a lot of plants without causing serious damage, but they can tear MJ to pieces. Any plant that has been outside (which includes all plants from stores -...

Ugh, im a noob looking for advice

Pictures would help; don't trim them until we can get a look at em. Bear in mind that this first set of leaves typically drops early; probably not an issue.

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Hah...! Speaking of top cuts... we're getting to that point. I've noticed over the last few days that a few buds are looking ready. Not the big top colas, but some of the little individuals down the stem aways and one or two second-tier colas. So, I cut this little gal and scoped her and...

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Well, time for a little update. I've been a little lazy about posting lately; everything is kind of in a groove. Been keeping up the "feed every with every water" deal at 1/2 tsp 7-9-5 Liquid Grow per gallon. The girls have been sucking it up pretty good; the add'l air movement in there has...

How much weed do you smoke on average, daily?

A 3-4 hit bowl every other day or so; sometimes a 1-2-hit wake and bake; maybe smoke out more on a weekend once in awhile. I enjoy growing more than smoking these days.

"BLOOMbastic" from ATAMI, any info will help.

Never used it; the 0-14-15 ratio tells me it's intended as a P and K supplement for flowering. Good way to burn up some plants, IMO. I think instead of 'BLOOM', they meant to say "BOOM!".

    Nutrients mixed every water?

I've gone to feeding lightly at every watering and really like the results. A lot of nute producers give you a "feed dose" and a lower "maintenance" dose. I've been feeding every time at the maintenance level. I started doing it to arrest a nitrogen deficiency, did some research in the meantime...

My first grow is ambering up and ready to flush!!!!!!

Flushing for taste, etc is a myth. Proper grow, harvest, trim and cure makes taste, not flushing. Flushing just strips an already-marginally nutritive medium to a worse state. Just stop feeding for the last two weeks if anything.

What type of soil is good that I can buy at Walmart?

Not to mention that driving to a hydro store is a good way to pick up a trace, in certain places.

Started a 600w grow using random seeds...worth it to keep or just buy feminized seeds

It'll probably turn out great. Quality of the grower trumps the quality of seed every time. I think ppl overstress the hermie thing. Any MJ plant can hermie, so having seed that came from hermie pollination doesn't necessarily increase that chance and heck, you don't know that that's where they...
