Lots of good info here. But I would say this place is full of mostly kids and young adults. They only come armed with the info they read here. Not much real experience. This place does get visited by some people with a lot of knowledge. There's just not that many of them.

Thanks jwop. The plan on my mother chamber is to be about 12" tall 10"w. The 42w are to big. Thats why I was wonder about using the much smaller 10w. My walmart sells a new "smaller size" cfl the 10w is about 3". I could line the top of the chamber with them... lol But was hoping to get by with...

Whats an acceptable rate? I need 2 good clones about once a year from each mum. Just to clear up any confusion. I was asking if 10w per mum would be good. so 40 watts in a .79' space

Can I get by using 10w cfls? I am going to keep them as short and small as possible. I would like to keep 3 or 4 mums. would 1 10w cfl per mum be good enough to keep them producing cuttings? The biggest tube light I could get would be 12" and they come in at 8w per and are more of a pain.

I dont feel bad... I feel ripped off. These are not the first seeds I've sown. I have tried 4 methods of germination on these... They are bunk.

I got 2 packs of diesel ryder. 0 out of 14 sprouted. 6 cracked the shell then died. I cant say that I blame The attitude, but they did come from there seed bank. I am going to try them again with a different breeder. I am hoping for some better success.
