This could easly be fixed by just cleaning the hood and bulb once a week or so wright? Would the carbon effect the bulb or hood in any way other than dulling brightness?

Thanks bloodshot yea my flowering room is pretty much exactly half of your room. Do you feel that your yields are that much better running 1000s then if you had 2-600s. I am definatly getting an online cooling system with what ever light I get.

yea i have a fan in there now. my initial heat problem was that i put my thermometer in the wrong place. so my room was about 80 but under my lights at the leaves the heat was around 95-100. i fixed that about five days ago and the plants have been growing like crazy since then. im thinking...

its on a drip system in my growroom. the averge temp is around 85. ive just had a few spikes around 95. not sure if those spikes could be the cause.

I switched to twice aday because I noticed some algae (and covered the rockwool cubes from light), I think between that and uping the ppm they have doubled in size in about three days.

i spoted algae on my rockwool today so i covered them with reflective insulation. my plantss are on a drip system so i put the dripper under the insulation. some light will still hit the rockwool. will this be enought cover and what should i do bout the algae that is there? should i leave it...
