Has anybody heard anything about Green House Seeds' K-Train or Himalaya Gold? Also can anybody tell me what are some characteristics of cheese strains?

Here's today, I stopped counting the days, so I'm not sure how old they are, but given that on the 19th of November they were 4 days old, today they must be 12 days. You can obviously tell which is which at this point by the leaf structure. PS: I switched over to my 250W MH.

I have one of those going right now. It's only about a week old though. Doing excellent.

I had some dark spots on my first set of leaves of one of my seedlings once. I just snipped them off with my trimmers close to the stem, and then the plant kept growing well. It took about a day to get over the shock though. It grew and grew and grew until I noticed it was male -_-

Word. Hemp Depot is great all around. I believe I've only used them once but everything went well and really quickly and everything. No complaints.

I may be talking out my ass here but IMO I wouldn't collect pollen from a hermie if you want a strong cross. A hermie is a stressed out plant, you may as well just wait until you have a male and collect pollen from a strong male instead so your cross would be stronger. Up to you though, as for...

Hey alright so after all the much appreciated suggestions I did some more research and decided to go with white widow, silver haze #9 and nyc diesel... What do you think of these choices? I smoked some of what was claimed to be white widow a few days ago but it really wasn't all it's made out...

The soil's actually surprisingly loose. I pretty puffy. I think you may have diagnosed the problem, ryeguy, I'm probably not puting in enough perlite. I'll try more of that next time.. Thanks guys!
