This is my setup. I have four 75-watt CFLs that produce about 2000 lumens each i have a halogen floodlight bulb over my seedlings for the heat and the ligth. that puts out some good lumens. for my hydro plants im using Emily;'s garden by hydrofarm. I am using Lowryder Original feminized seeds...

this is what i mean about the wick thing. i have it going straight up and down in the pot. about an inch out of the clay pellets in the center of the pot.

yeah it came with a manual and it just says to hold it straight up as you fill your pot with the clay pellets. thats why mine is going verticly up and down in my pot and is showing about an inch out of the medium in the middle of the pot. straight up. it just doesnt seem right. i feel like it...

if anyone knows if you can start seeds in rockwell and when they sprout and the roots grow out of the bottom if that i could transplant the whole rockwell cube and seedling into a pot of soil. Transplant the whole thing. Can i? thank you

Yeah i had the same prob with the timer. you should just return it and get a three prong. it will save you alot of hassle in the end after movin it all around a bunch and shit. soo ya just get a three prong.
