  • If RollItUp's message board back in 2010 would have been more user friendly I would have seen your message. I know it's way past when you needed this answer but I will answer it anyway.

    You feed the wick up through the bottom of the bucket. Part of the wick will dangle into the reservoir and the other half will sit in the middle of the clay pellets. So you will need to hold the wick centered in the buckets and fill around the wick. Basically this allows for someone to have a plant with short roots be able to receive water or even grow by placing a seed against the wick. It's not needed for those who cloned with long stems and long roots.
