    Advantage V. disadvantage CFL's

you see it seem to me that people feel that if you give it the most intense light you can find and the best hydro setup that it equils dank fat buds and that is simpley not true. CFL's do not have the danger or heat problems that HPS and MH have also it cost more all around to dissapate the...

    Light intensity CFL's

with the hood full it depends on the way it is set up because the 6500 kelvin bulbs that you see in the picture are 26 watts and the 2700 kelvin ones are 42 watts so if they were mixed it would be 680 watts all 2700k = 840 watts all 6500k = 520 wattsthat was just a picture i took in response to...

    Help choosing lights

i hate to disagree with the lot of you BUT you must do the math on lumens per watt and the CFL's are a bit diffrent then say MH HPS the higher you go in watts the lower you go in lumens per watt you should have for 2 plants about 30000 lumens depending on there size and try to stay around 42-60...

how many 24w cfl can i...

a normal 115 vac plug can handle 10-15 amp at full capacity but you should stay under the max you should be about 75% of the full load so if it is 15 amps (you can find this out by looking at the braker box) then 10 is you safe max hope this helps
