Sounds like they arent getting enough light, so they stretch and fall over. A common problem with first time growers. How many hours of sun does the spot you have them get?

Ahh, that must of been why I got the gnats to begin with I was using the MG organic choice soil.

With my setup, it seems I can only hold 6 plants in flower cycle with a 400 watt HPS... This is due to the size of the 12" pots. Of course if your doing a SOG style grow, you can almost double that easy. I guess it depends on how big of plants you growing. Cheers, -bwbig

My plants didnt have too much of a stretch (I think?), but each time I repotted it, I buried the stem maybe 1/2 inch higher then last time (so its stem has been buried around 1 inch since birth). Yes its perfectly fine to bury the stem up to their cotys. What will happen, is in a couple weeks...

Yup, you got some ladies there =) In those pictures....it looks like I see 2 plants inside the SAME pot? If so, that might explain why they are so tiny for being 8-10 weeks old.

They are growing under a T5... 4' fixture.. 4 bulbs... They are 54 watt per bulb, 5k lumens per bulb... So 20k lumens total at 216 watt's. HTG supply had a sweet deal on this for like 125 bucks (with the lights). The plants themselves, went from those little pots you get when you buy flowers...

Flushing wont work for me. I'm on a septic, gotta be very carefull with what I put down there, or its a 2k bill to get it unplugged (and bring someone out!)... Good to know on the fire... It's normally packed with pine needles and they burn VERY hot, so I should be good there!! Thanks much...
