can my plant be finished after only 6 weeks of flowering??

I got some seeds from a friend of mine, had no idea what they were other than some "seeds from the states". 4 of the 6 seeds germinated, luckily 3 were female but they are obviously all different strains. Two clearly were sativas and one looked like a sativa/indica hybrid. They're all...

nearly in tears after my super lemon haze died

Thanks man that's great to know. I'm about done with these damn ferts. From now on I'm just going with blood meal, fish gut water, rock dust, a bit of bat guano and some seaweed tea I made.

nearly in tears after my super lemon haze died

thanks guys. yea it totally sucks but what can I do besides use it as an important learning experience so I don't make that mistake again. I'm doing everything alone right now with my only instructions coming from people on the web so all I got is trial and error.

nearly in tears after my super lemon haze died

Grew from seed so had gotten a bit attached to them. I stupidly killed them off with overdose of veg fert but I guess this is a learning experience considering I am new to growing but argghh! Feel like one of my kids just died.

do I really need chemical ferts?

The first crop I did I didn't use them until a few weeks into flowering (I wasn't sure what to use), and my second crop they killed two of my Super Lemon Haze but my Thai plants survived. Maybe because they are a pure strain and were stronger but I'm not sure.

do I need to check PH levels if I'm watering with only rain water?

Don't remember saying anything about "spending time", but I don't have a meter and have no idea where to buy one here where I live. There's not a WalMart or a Home Garden supply shop on every corner in this part of the world so I don't have the luxury of just strolling downtown and buying one.

do I really need chemical ferts?

I'm assuming you go very light on the chem ferts. I thought I was going light on them but obviously not light enough.

do I need to check PH levels if I'm watering with only rain water?

I live in SE where it rains frequently so I have been saving up rain water and using that only with my plants. Does the fact I am using rain water eliminate the need to check my PH levels? Are there any PH issues when using rain water? My plants seem to enjoy rain water very much.

do I really need chemical ferts?

Thanks for the reply. Thats kind of what I thought might be the case. I wasn't having any problems at all until I introduced the chemical stuff to my mix. I have been using pure beef blood I bought from the market and pouring small amounts of it directly on my plants. I mix a bit of rock dust...

    My Organic Oil Mix

I have been using a mixture of bloodmeal (beef blood), fish gut blood and water, rock dust, bat guano and a seaweed tea all mixed into the compost I buy. It was working wonderfully until I made the stupid decision to introduce chemical ferts to the mix. Live and learn I guess.

Has anyone grown and harvested without checking ph levels?

My plants get nothing but rain water so I don't think I have a PH problem.

do I really need chemical ferts?

Second time grower here. Had one successful crop but just killed off two super lemon haze plants with an overdose of chemical ferts and thinking of going all organic next time with bloodmeal, fish gut water, seaweed tea and a tad of bat guano. Do chemical ferts really make your plants grow any...
