the burns on it. are they from the light, or from not enough water?

i was gone for about a week so they grew pretty close to the small CFL i left them on, but the aqua globe also ran out of water. wondering which it is and what i should do to fix it??

yah ive got it on a flourescent right now, and as for temp im not sure i cant find a gauge to put in there right now..

ok so should i keep the hps light higher from it? i heard that having it high makes them tall and not bushy cuz they stretch towards the light

how much would a space heater effect the electrical bill?. and would i need to keep it on all the time or just at night?
