How long do I leave the plant tied? Do I leave it tied down the whole time? If I do I'm assuming that whatever you tie it down with would have to be loose enough for the plant to grow in to it in size. Or do you only tie down for so long and then remove it and then the plant is trained to...

Word! That is some awesome looking LST's. Come on people. You HAVE to have pics of crazy lst's, even if they failed somehow, show those too so we know what it looked like. EDIT: Now that I've had time to think about it, this thread would probably be better in the advanced cultivation thread...

I have a plant that has almost reached 3 weeks in to 12/12. CFL, just a little LST, soil. I want to hermie this plant. is it too late? If not what would be the best way to do it at this stage? Silver or Stress? Please keep in mind that this is my first grow and I am pretty noobish, so...

True, but isn't that how you make feminized (sp?) seeds? And don't most fem seeds produce fem's? I must know this information! :eyesmoke:

Is it ever a good idea to cut fan leaves? I am LST'ing and if I could only cut one big fan leaf off it would get me a lot of light to a spot where I have very little light. I have tried to move it out of the way but cant get it over far enough to let the light hit where I want without tucking...
