its 3 weeks, almost 3.5 weeks old and small. im pretty sure the lights were a problem. it just got "enough" light for the last 3 days or so. you can tell where its stopped stretching, i think. but i also think its yellowing. and the stem is red. and the leaves are small... and it may be...

i read somewhere that the roots might have trouble with aeration and compaction. any thoughts? also can i use small rocks to aerate my soil? how deep should i plant my next one? i usually plant like half a finger or more deep.

i have a 3 week old. the light cycle has been very erratic until recently. for the last few days its been on 24/7 lights. they are cfls and about a half inch away. can this stress the plant? will it make it yellow? +rep

my lights are about a quarter of an inch away. 3 cfls. is this too close? will that and 24 hour light cycles keep it yellow?

so have we decided that straws or holes in soil would be benificial? also i had some yeast+sugar mixture going on, and asked somone if it would help. they said it was not enough co2. so im going to mix up another batch right now.
