It looks like one of my plants when its air pump dies and the roots suffocate. The leaves claw down and the areas between the leaf veins dry out. How often do you water them? In coco you only really need to water when the top 10mm dries out.

I also use Cannazym in my system. Say what you want about the brand, but that stuff rocks. Benificial bacteria such as "Cobra" is also good for the "Rhizosphere". Its pretty expensive, but well worth it IMO. Forget white roots if you're going to use BB. or you could just use peroxide....

Its not imperative that your roots are platinum white. If you're not using beneficial bacteria or enzymes then hit them with some H²O².

My plants shoot singles then triples when re-vegging. The same leaves then develop into 5-7 fingered leaves as the hormones re-balance. I only re-veg if I have to, because it looks messy and takes forever to turn around. On the other hand its a shame to waste an established root mass IMO...
