Well you want clod air blowing threw your tent 24/7... or atleast the hours your light is on cause hps give off a lot of heat compared to cfls. But hps is the way to go... i usually grow during the winter time hard lol... and in the summer usually 1-2plants per light. otherwise you can try cfl...

some pictures would be nice to have.. and also i use 18/6 for veg.. and 12/12 for grow.. Also what dimensions is your tent. Post pics lol i can give you a little more info if you do. And yield is entirely out of my reach.. very difficult to tell.

It looks like you are either giving them too much of something or not enough of something.What kind of soil is that? nutrients in soil? and are you giving them nutrients.... and how many times are you watering?
